Managing focus can allow us to provide better feedback to keyboard and screen reader users when things are added to and removed from webpages. Using several examples based on accessibility audit findings, Emma will talk about how to use focus management to improve accessibility.

Disability Inclusive AI

Kave Noori will discuss EDF’s “Inclusive AI” project. The project aims to advocate for the rights of persons with disabilities in the development of AI technologies. It also aims to expand the knowledge of the European disability rights movement. The project is based on three pillars: advocacy at the European level, capacity building, and awareness-raising activities.
